Audrey Lamson
Director of Events & Finance
Audrey Lamson is the Director of Events and Finance at The Waters, bringing over a decade of dedicated service to our organization. Since joining in 2014 as a server for our yacht club nights, Audrey has showcased her versatility and commitment as she continued contributing to the business through her college years—progressing to bartending and eventually excelling in event management.
With an MBA in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, Audrey brings a strong foundation in financial oversight and project management to her role. She serves as the main point of contact for event planning, ensuring a seamless experience for clients from start to finish.
As a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, Audrey’s deep roots in the community allow her to navigate the area with ease, enhancing her ability to deliver exceptional, personalized service. Her long tenure at The Waters has also allowed her to cultivate strong relationships with trusted local vendors, ensuring access to top-quality resources for every event.
When Audrey isn’t planning or working events, she enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and—most of all—being with her golden retriever, Winnie.
Abby Sheppard
Venue Manager
Abby Sheppard is the Venue Manager and Event Manager at The Waters, overseeing day-to-day operations while also playing a hands-on role in the planning and execution of events. She is responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of the property, ensuring every space is prepared to welcome guests and celebrations of all kinds.
Abby brings over 15 years of experience working on yachts around the world, as well as serving as an estate manager in South Florida and New York. This background has shaped her exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to high standards of service—qualities that translate seamlessly into event management.
Her professional experience has required coordinating teams, managing complex logistics, and anticipating client needs in high-expectation environments. These skills allow Abby to approach each event with confidence, efficiency, and care, helping create smooth, memorable experiences for clients and guests alike.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and relaxing at her cozy cottage in Waupaca.
